Rootsy enough to remind you of your favorite founding folk-fathers, but with the energy and air to entice indie lovers as well. Tiny Timbers is the musical project of Alex Champage, longtime Baltimore musician and, notably, the founder of Baltimore Folk Fest. These songs are the stomping rhythms and chiming melodies floating around in his head.

Have you ever fallen asleep with the windows open, the wind blowing in, the fan circulating, the house breathing and creaking, a rhythm is set. You rise in the morning to birds making their daily calls, the neighborhood awake and buzzing, and it's melody sits slightly askew, but it's a song you can't shake all day.

...yeah it's kind of like that.
