Secondhand Ramblers

Like a fly to a bar, you find yourself attracted to the rhythmic vibrations pulsing through the ancient brick walls, inviting you into another dimly lit, wood-paneled pub. That first sip of beer tastes like nostalgia as you remember some god-awful golden era in your life when you listened to all the “good” music. Tap your foot, nod your head, break dance or swing dance, it doesn’t matter and you won’t care. Secondhand Ramblers is akin to the smell of fresh-baked cookies, it’s what you didn’t know you wanted until you saw that it was there.

A gem of the Frederick music scene, Secondhand Ramblers is: JB Dunn (lead vocalist/guitar), his longtime musical partner, Scott Blecman (bass/vocals) and newest addition, Joe Benny (percussion). With inspiration from all your favorites, together they form a unique hometown sound made of bluesy-folk rock n’ roll fusion, poured into a house blend of 90’s coffee shop alternative attitude. Sometimes borrowed, sometimes blue, they pay homage creating a sonic collage to quench all ears thirsty for something both old, and new.
