Smoke n' Mangos was formed in the small town of Poolesville, Maryland, with the least serious of intentions: to get first place performing "Wagon Wheel" at their senior year talent show. They got third. However, as each of us have grown with our respective instruments, they have been able to come up with a pretty original sound that they are proud of and can't wait to expand upon.
With an acoustic guitar, banjo, mandolin, electric bass, and a cello, the band has a bluegrassy-Americana sound influenced by the newer jammy bluegrass bands.
